A Few Things to Know Before You Order
Found your favorite fabric, but what to-do next? Let us help you with next steps.
We highly recommend ordering a swatch before purchasing yardage. Fabric color, texture, and weight can vary depending on lighting and use, and seeing it in person helps ensure it’s the right fit for your project.
Swatches ship quickly and are the best way to feel confident before ordering yardage.
Our upholstery fabric is sold in 10-yard and 15-yard increments. Because yardage requirements vary based on the piece, pattern repeat, and upholstery method, we recommend confirming quantities with your upholsterer before placing an order.
If you’re unsure which increment is right for your project, we’re happy to help—reach out before ordering so we can guide you.
Each fabric is designed with specific uses in mind, from accent chairs to full upholstery projects. Please review the product details for recommended applications, durability, and performance characteristics.
Selecting the appropriate fabric ensures your piece looks beautiful and holds up to everyday use.
Patterned fabrics require additional yardage to properly match repeats, especially for larger pieces or multiple cushions. Be sure to account for pattern repeat and directional designs when planning your order.
Ordering all yardage at once helps ensure consistency across your project.
For an additional charge, you may add a water-resistant or stain-resistant finish to your fabric. These finishes are designed to help protect against everyday spills and wear.
While not guaranteed to prevent damage in every situation, they can help reduce absorption and make cleaning easier—especially in high-use spaces.
Because fabric is produced in dye lots, slight color variations may occur between batches. To ensure the best match, we recommend ordering all required yardage for your project at the same time.
Fabric is cut to order and typically ships within 4-6 weeks. Due to the custom nature of cut yardage, all sales are final.
We strongly recommend ordering swatches and confirming yardage before placing your order. Full shipping details are available on our policy page.
